SENIOR DESIGNER

The Galaxy has a role for a freelance senior designer, based in Sydney or Melbourne.

The role involves working with Managers in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth to design and deliver creative concepts and online design of a high standard. Work on a varied mix of brand, corporate identity, web design, online marketing, advertising and collateral projects.

Digital, design, marketing or advertising agency or studio experience an advantage.Good concept, brand, print, online and digital skills required, using Adobe CS Suite and Dreamweaver. Flash and web programming knowledge an advantage.

Work with a small, dynamic professional team with good clients, inspired creative skills and a fun attitude. We are looking to work with a proactive, positive, professional designer who can work on national/international clients and collaborate virtually and effectively with a national team.

Part-time, flexible hours to suit right candidate (with study, family or private client commitments), approximately 12 to 20 hours per week. Some work from home possible, depending on candidate’s circumstances.

Paid an hourly freelance rate on projects $25 to $45 (ABN or PAYG) negotiable. Report to the CEO in Sydney, but this role involves minimal
supervision and will require good communication skills to liaise with the team, clients and suppliers.

Good project and studio management skills an advantage - we need someone who is well organised and able to meet tight deadlines.
