Mark
Director

Mark founded The Galaxy more than ten years ago, pursuing his dream to run his own marketing communications business. The business has evolved into a successful independent design agency with Mark as chief client liaison, strategist, writer and consultant.

Mark has a BA in Communication and has worked in roles both agency and client side, in Australia and London. He comes with an incredible array of experience and practical insights in Government, IT, Not-for-profit, finance, insurance, mining, sport and FMCG among others.

Mark is a wine buff (hence The Galaxy Wine Club gatherings) and enjoys a game of squash. He also enjoys running Marathons, often for his favourite cancer charity Can Too.

Caroline
Studio Manager

Caroline and Mark’s professional history goes back several years, helping them to perform as a great team at the helm of The Galaxy. Not only is Caroline an accomplished Studio and Production Manager with nine years experience agency-side, she has a Bachelor of Fine Arts and  brings several years client-side experience in Automotive, IT and Government sectors. Her easy going but professional style helps Mark to expertly service our clients with the utmost finesse.

Caroline has many strings to her bow, she enjoys sewing ‘swirly dresses’ from vintage patterns, collects ‘mid-century kitchen bits & pieces’ and can often be found baking delicious healthy treats which you can read about in her blog.

Judith
Senior Designer

Our Senior Designer comes with a myriad of experience over 15 years, in art direction and branding, extensively in the digital arena. With a wealth of knowledge in the design and creation websites - large and small, content management, SEO optimisation, mobile devices plus production of video pieces and all in between, Judith is an invaluable resource to The Galaxy clients and team.

In addition to being our Masters qualified fountain of knowledge for design and digital, Judith enjoys painting, cooking up treats and making ‘odd art pieces from found items’.

Ouita
Senior Designer

Ouita comes with nearly ten years of experience working in professional design studios. Her work for the Galaxy has taken her to Sydney and Melbourne, whilst in London she had a senior creative role for PwC. Ouita’s talent is as colourful as her beautiful name - she applies herself to an impressive variety of client projects encompassing concept work, print and digital, both designing and art directing.

Ouita has a BA (hons) in design, however being a talented designer is just not quite enough for her! She is also training to be an Osteopath. It’s hard to imagine she has any spare time, however Ouita loves rock climbing and can often be found dangling by her finger tips from the nearest mountain.

Anne
Designer

In addition to an Australian degree in design, Anne has also studied and worked in Canada, Holland and South Africa, gaining excellent international experience which she brings to her work for The Galaxy. Anne has worked as a magazine art director as well as a designer in several design studios around Sydney.

Anne is quite the jetsetter, so much so she can list one of her hobbies as riding in aeroplanes. When not flying, Anne is still a bit super human in that she works with some of the disadvantaged children out in South Africa. When the serious bits of life are done she can also be found playing with paint and 'frolicking in Daisy Fields'.

 

In addition to the regular team above The Galaxy is also proud to work with some very talented specialised designers, flash designers, website builders, CRM & CMS experts, conceptualists and finished artists as required.
